What are Drivers?
Drives are broad themes defined within the inFeedo Employee Experience(EX) framework, with an aim to present a holistic picture of the satisfaction and happiness of employees at the organization, and those who contribute to it the most. The framework is created based on both primary and secondary research including inputs from subject matter experts, CHROs, HRBPs, and ethnomethodological research.
Our EX Framework identifies 7 key drivers (and 57 driver elements) that provide a comprehensive measure of experience at every touchpoint & stage in an employee’s tenure. The 7 key Drivers are:
My Organization Culture
My Work
My Team
My Manager
Senior Leadership
My Organization
My Career & Learning
Why Does Driver Summary Matter?
The Driver Summary metric gives you a snapshot of the engagement levels of the drivers in the organization, helping you identify Drivers that are working well and those that need improvement. This, in turn, helps you can align your efforts on areas that require your attention.
What information is available in the Drivers Across Demographics slide?
1. Title of the Report
The title of the report gives you essential information such as:
the data source the report is generated from,
the metric which is present on the slide,
the demographic data that is grouped by, and
the time period in which the data is captured.
In the example mentioned above, Tenure is the data source, Driver Score is the metric presented on this slide, Grouped by Manager is the demographic data, Chats sent between is the criteria, and 16 May 2022 to 16 May 2023 is the time period.
💡 The selection of data source, demographic data, and time period can be configured at the time of report creation
2. Demographic Data
The demographic data section provides information on the demographic chosen for comparison, the cut-off for the Demographic values to be displayed on the slide as well as the sorting.
In the example mentioned above, the Demographic chosen is Manager, the cut-off applied is those demographic values with at least 2 responses for 7 of 7 drivers, and the sorting chosen is Volume of Responses sorted by highest to lowest.
💡 The user generating the report will have the option to choose demographic, the minimum cut-off as well as the sorting that’s applied.
3. Columns in the slide
Demographic:
This represents the demographic chosen for comparison. For Example, the demographic chosen in the image is Managers. In this column, all the demographic elements (Managers in this case) defined in the system will be listed here if the people tagged to the Managers have responded to the overall driver-related question.
📌 If none of the members within a demographic have responded to the overall question during the reporting period, that department will not be listed on the screen
📌 The total number of people who were NOT tagged to any demographic is called out on the slide so that people interpreting the slide can factor this information and any corrective measures can be taken to address such gaps.
Respondents
Respondents here refer to the people belonging to the demographic who have answered one or more questions tagged to the driver during the reporting period.
Answers
Answers here refer to the number of answers given by people belonging to the demographic to questions tagged to the specific driver by the respondents during the reporting period.
Average Driver Score for Each Driver
The average driver score is calculated as follows:
Display Layout
The slide can be represented either as a 'Heat Map' or as ‘Tabular View’.
While both views have the exact same content,
Heatmap highlights colour codes all scores according to the range they fall in and highlights areas that are doing well and areas that need attention.
Tabular view represents the data in a non-colour-coded table format. This view reduces visual overload.
The number of demographics listed on the slide is controlled by the configuration ‘Maximum demographic values to display’ that can be set during report generation.
