Who is a Silent Person?
Silent People are people who have not responded to at least 2 consecutive surveys (as of today), after all reminders have been sent.
Exit and Anonymous Pulse are excluded from this analysis:
People who have participated in Exit surveys but have not responded to other surveys are still considered silent.
People cannot be uniquely identified from Anonymous Pulse surveys to categorize them as Silent.
⚠️ The Silent status reflects as on the current day only. If someone was previously silent but has since responded to a survey, they will no longer be marked as silent. Historical data and analytics for these changes are not available.
How is Silent People analyzed for a Pulse?
Silent People analytics for Pulse identifies participants from this Pulse who have not responded to 2 or more engagement surveys (across all available survey types for e.g. Tenure, Pulse, MTM etc.)
Even if a participant has responded to the Pulse for which the report is being generated, they may still be classified as silent ****if they have not engaged with the latest two or more surveys (across all available survey types)
Why is it important to analyze Silent People?
If a person is silent, it makes it harder to understand their feedback or they may need extra support to share it. They are likely at a greater risk of disengagement and attrition.
What information is available in the Silent People summary slide?
Title of the Report
The title of the report gives you essential information such as the data source the report is generated from, the metric which is present on the slide, the type of data, and the time period in which the data is captured.
In the example mentioned above, Tenure, Pulse and MTM is the data source, Silent People is the metric presented on this slide, Silent People† identified between is the criteria (this is pre-selected, cannot be changed) and 19 Aug 2023 (Since launch) and 19 Aug 2024 (date of report generation) is the time period.
The Title is subject to change based on the configurations selected at the time of report generation.

Organization Silent People Percentage of Silent People out of the total no. of people who received at-least 2 chats for the Organization.
Duration of Silence (Range)
To understand the Duration of Silence (Range), let’s first understand Duration of Silence.
Duration of Silence is calculated starting from the date the first survey was sent (and not responded to) up to:
The date they were marked as silent, after the second survey was sent (and not responded to) despite reminders, OR
Today, if they are still marked as silent.
For example, if the first survey was sent on October 1st, they were marked as silent on January 1st, and today is February 1st, the 'Duration of Silence' period would be 4 months.
For ex-employees, the Duration of Silence is calculated from the day they were marked as silent until one day after their Date of Leaving.
Duration of Silence (Range) is the range in which a particular duration of Silence falls.
For example, someone silent for 1 year and 5 months falls into the 13-24 months range (or a range defined by your organization).
The Duration of Silence (Range) is customizable. Please contact your Customer Success Manager at help@infeedo.com. for more details.
